New table, looks cool to leave the balls racked on it all the time. Is this bad for the table or felt?
it is fine to leave the balls racked up on the table, but if you have pockets with a rope bag, the dont leave your ball in the pockets, it will damage the leather on the pockets over time

NO your not going to hurt the pool table. But how much direct light is the table getting? If you make this a habbit and the table is getting lots of direct light then it will fade the rest of table over time and turn into an eye soar. Have you ever left a colored t-shirt out in the sun for a day or two?

Leaving billiard balls on the table is fine.
Like someone else said, it is more important to make sure that the table is not damaged by UV light. You should cover the table when it isn’t in use. This will prevent dust from settling on the table and into the cloth.
