Wii — What the heck do I need to buy?

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

I don’t understand what accessories I need to buy for the Wii in order to be able to play multiplayer. I get that I should buy an additional Wii Remote Controller, and Wii Nunchuk Controller. Do I need to buy the Wii Classic Controller at all? Also, do I need to buy a memory card (if so, would 1GB be enough to start)?

Last thing — would $450.00 be a reasonable price if all of these things are included?

Nintendo Wii Console U.S.A. Version
2 Wii Remote Controllers
1 Wii Nunchuk Controller
Wii Console Stand
Sensor Bar
Wii AC Adapter
Wii AV Cable
5 Game Wii Sports Bundle Disc (Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Bowling and Boxing games)
1 Year Nintendo U.S.A. Warranty
9 Game Wii Play Disc Includes:Shooting Range, Billiards, Find Mii, Tanks!, Pose Mii, Table Tennis, Fishing, Charge! and Laser Hockey games

I got the following for $250.00 + taxes:
=============================
Nintendo Wii Console U.S.A. Version
1 Wii Remote Controller
1 Wii Nunchuk Controller
Wii Console Stand
Sensor Bar
Wii AC Adapter
Wii AV Cable
5 Game Wii Sports Bundle Disc (Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Bowling and Boxing games)
1 Year Nintendo U.S.A. Warranty

Others:
======
Later I bought 9 Game Wii Play Disc (Includes:Shooting Range, Billiards, Find Mii, Tanks!, Pose Mii, Table Tennis, Fishing, Charge! and Laser Hockey games) separately for $49.99 + taxes. This game packet included the extra Wii remote.

You can get the 1GB SD Card for under $17.00 on Amazon

I never felt the need to buy the Classic controller as I just use the standard Wii remote. To go online, the above list will be sufficient (which does not include the Classic Controller).

Hope this helps. Since the wii is so hard to get sometimes you end up paying a premium on the stuff. I got lucky as I happened to be in Best Buy just on the day a shipment of wii arrived. I was almost about to buy XBox 360 when I happened to see someone buying a Wii and immediately dropped the XBox and got myself a Wii.

VC games (FREE)
Wifi adapter 20$

That totals 540$, at discount prices for everything. 500$ should be good. Its been 5 days, and no bids?

Am I doing something wrong here?

Any tips? Or offers?

Ebay Item: 280226035575
Forgot to add, everything comes with box, manuals, sensor bar, all the necessary cords.

Everything works great.

Reason for selling: Trying to get transportation, that is light on fuel, etc, and I don’t have time for games anymore. :(

I see that you’re brand new to ebay. Bidders can see this as well and they don’t like that. You may have listed it too high as well. Did you research how much every individual item sells for by itself? You can’t just guess how much they sell for, like the person above me wrote, it’s a buyers market. If it were me I would have started it at $0.99 cents to avoid the listing fee as much as possible. You know a Wii is going to sell for a decent price anyway so I wouldn’t be worried about it. $520 for all this is pushin it. If you have at least 5 watchers then I’d say you’ll definitely sell it.

Just hang in there, you’ll get a bid. you have over 5 days left. 5 days is a long time in ebay land!

I need your help. :)
Lol? The hell is 50p?

Also, selling so low because, idk, people don’t pay over 500 for these things, they could just buy a ps3 or w/e.

Why are you selling it for such a low price? You could get another 200 to 300 dollars with all that stuff.

Where can I sell my pool table (locally)?

Monday, February 15th, 2010

I have this near new Alex Higgins pool table (slate) with all kinds of accessories – ten cues, billiards and snooker balls, scoreboard, plaque displaying tournament and house rules, two table lights, cover, everything, not even a mark on it (barely ever used). It’s listed on Kijiji (for a while now), but haven’t had an bites yet, so now I’m looking for local places that buy and sell game tables and whatnot.

Location: Burlington, Ontario (and surrounding areas)
Anyone know of any places that buys and sells? Or, anyone here looking for a table?
